Wen Long was appointed Group Chief Strategy Officer of Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) in February 2026, overseeing the Group’s corporate strategy, network and fleet planning. Prior to this role, Wen Long served as Head of Corporate Strategy from 2018, where he played a central role in shaping the Group’s long-term transformation and growth agenda. He led the development of the Group’s strategic roadmaps, oversaw fleet and network planning across the Group, and drove initiatives focused on enhancing profitability and strengthening MAG’s overall competitiveness. His responsibilities also included overseeing mergers and acquisition efforts, network and fleet development, aviation services expansion and key strategic developments supporting the delivery of the Group’s long-term business plans. Before joining MAG, Wen Long was a consultant with Strategy& (part of the PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) network) where he worked on state economic development master plans and transformation programmes for government-linked companies. Wen Long holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
