President and Group Chief Executive Officer

Captain Nasaruddin was appointed President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) in February 2026. He is also an Executive Director of MAG and Malaysia Airlines Berhad. Prior to this role, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Malaysia Airlines. No stranger to the Malaysia Airlines family, Captain Nasaruddin started his career with the airline and brings with him more than 30 years of experience in the aviation industry. He has since undertaken various management portfolio including Human Factors Manager in the Flight Operations department, Chief Flying Instructor and Head of Training in MAB Academy. Captain Nasaruddin played an instrumental role in the Transformation Management Office as General Manager to lead the MAG Business Process Management and MAG Sustainability as Project Director. Apart from his aviation flying experience, he has also served as the Co-Chairman of Asia and Australasia Human Factors Safety Info, and the Innovation Garage Director together with Khazanah Nasional and Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad.
