Suspension of Flights to/from Doha, Jeddah and Madinah on 28 February - 5 March 2026

Malaysia Airlines suspends Doha, Jeddah, and Madinah flights from 28 Feb–5 Mar 2026 due to regional airspace closure.

KLIA, 1 March 2026 - In addition to the cancellations implemented from 28 February to 1 March 2026, and following continued closure of airspace in parts of the Middle East amid escalating regional security developments, Malaysia Airlines has suspended all flights to and from Doha (DOH), Jeddah (JED), and Madinah (MED) until 4 March 2026, with select flights on 5 March 2026 also suspended. All other flights, including those to and from London (LHR) and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) remain on schedule at this time. These flights are operating on alternative routings, well clear of the affected conflict zone. The affected flights are:

Affected passengers are being notified and assisted with alternative travel arrangements where required. Flights to the affected destinations will remain suspended pending further assessment of the security situation.
